AUSTIN MCDERMOTT
POSITION: DEFENSESHOOTS: RIGHT
I’m a dynamic, two-way defenseman who excels in transition and drives possession with confidence. I break pucks out cleanly, jump into the rush, and create offense with smart, deceptive plays. On the power play, I stay calm under pressure and find passing lanes or get shots through traffic. I take pride in matching up against top lines, using my defensive stick and gap control to shut plays down and impact the game at both ends of the ice.
