I started learning to skate and play hockey with my twin sister, Caitlin, when we were 2 1/2 years old. Our exposure to hockey was probably planned before we were born by our parents who grew up in Minnesota and Canada. I love hockey! Hockey is such a unique sport that combines strength, agility, decision-making, and teamwork. It presents me with an opportunity to bond with teammates and motivates me to want to continually improve my athleticism.
