Olivia Soares was named an assistant coach with the Union College women's hockey team on August 4 and begins her first season on the bench with the Dutchwomen in 2022-23.
Soares comes to Union after serving as an assistant coach at Colby College, where she helped to lead the Mules to the best season in program history in her first year. Colby set a program record for wins with a 16-6-1 record and earned their first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament, finishing the season eighth in the USCHO.com na
